Global Wales Postgraduate Scholarship provides incredible opportunity for international students from across the world to study in Wales for the academic session. The scholarship is the first of its kind in Wales and is funded by the Global Wales Programme- a partnership between Welsh Government, Universities Wales, The British Council and HEFCW.

All universities in Wales offer scholarships under the scheme, and interested applicants need to have already applied for a place to study an eligible postgraduate programme before submitting a scholarship application.

Global Wales Postgraduate Scholarship | Eligibility Criteria

To be considered for the Global Wales Postgraduate Scholarship, applicants are to meet the following criteria:

  • Have submitted an application to study an eligible postgraduate programme at one of the following Welsh Universities: Aberystwyth University, Bangor University, Cardiff University, Cardiff Metropolitan University, Swansea University, University of South Wales, University of Wales trinity Saint David, Wrexham Glyndwr University.
  • Be due to start a postgraduate programme in September .
  • Be classed as an overseas student for fee paying purposes.
  • Be a citizen of an eligible country.
