American University Of Integrative Sciences Courses Offered

The American University of Integrative Sciences (AUIS), is a private for-profit offshore medical school with a single campus located in Barbados. Founded in 1999, it was formerly known as the University of Sint Eustatius School of Medicine (USESOM).
For a period, the school was based in Sint Maarten, where it was taken over by IEMR LLC, a US-based company. Since October 2017, AUIS has operated in Barbados, and it is currently a candidate for accreditation by the Caribbean Accreditation Authority for Education in Medicine and Other Health Professions (CAAM-HP).
BELOW ARE THE COURSES AT THE AMERICAN UNIVERSITY OF INTEGRATIVE SCIENCES:
A. Bachelor of Medical Sciences | BMSc
The accelerated Bachelor of Medical Sciences degree | BMSc; is designed for the undergraduate student with an aptitude for the sciences and who plans to attend medical, dental, or pharmacy school or to conduct biomedical research in graduate school and beyond.
B. BM.D. Programs
Doctor of Medicine | M.D.
This intense academic program aims to meet the needs of high-calibre high school graduates or college students aiming to pursue a medical education, but who have taken few or none of the core science courses required for admission to medical school.

C. Applied Clinical Knowledge
The 4-week workshop is offered as an Elective Clinical Clerkship or Pre-Clerkship training.
Our USMLE Step 1 course is a seven-week program designed to build on the fundamentals of basic sciences with a focus on high-yield organ systems while also reflecting the recent changes outlined on the USMLE website.
