ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
To maintain the quality of applications for admission to the MD Program and ensure compliance with all the statutory requirements, the University has prescribed eligibility criteria.
To maintain the quality of applications for admission to its medical course for MD in Barbados (equivalent to MBBS) and ensure compliance with all the statutory requirements, the University has prescribed an eligibility criterion. All the prospects need to fulfil the University eligibility criteria to get admission to the MD Program and study medicine in Barbados.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR BARBADIAN AND INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS (EXCEPT STUDENTS WHO ARE INDIAN CITIZENS OR OVERSEAS CITIZENS OF INDIA):
A. The candidate must be at least 17 years of age or must attain the age of 17 by the end of the year of application. In other words, if a candidate is born on or before 31st December, he or she can apply for academic year intake;
B. The candidate must have qualified for the Senior Secondary School Examinations with a science background and must have separately qualified in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, and Biology; and
C. The candidate must have achieved a score of at least 50% aggregate in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR STUDENTS WHO ARE INDIAN CITIZENS OR OVERSEAS CITIZENS OF INDIA:
Students, who are Indian Citizens or Overseas Citizens of India, must qualify National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) to get admission to MD Program at the University. That’s the only eligibility criterion.
PROGRAM & ELIGIBILITY FOR INDIAN STUDENTS WHO ARE YET TO QUALIFY NEET
For Indian Students, who are yet to qualify for NEET, we organize 1-Year Pre-Medical & NEET Coaching Program in India, followed by 4-Year MD Program in Barbados. The eligibility criteria of the program are as under:
