Centre for Legal and Business Studies Tuition Fees Structure

Each of our courses running for the academic year have varying fees, depending on your status as a UK and EU or International student. The fees listed below are per year.

Fee Schedules

For more detailed information about the fees and payment schedule for each course, please refer to our fee and instalment schedules information.

If you require a visa to study in the UK

If you are a Non-EEA student who requires Tier 4 sponsorship you will need to pre-pay the sum of £3,000 before The University of Law can issue your CAS. It is recommended that this payment is made at least 6 weeks prior to the course start date to allow enough time for you to apply for and receive your visa.

Once the CAS is approved the £3,000 pre-payment can be offset against the 1st instalment of tuition fees. Tier 4 visa students can choose to pay their tuition fees in three equal instalments.

Please note: Students undertaking the online part-time course do not require a Tier 4 visa, but may (depending on nationality) require another type of visa to attend induction, study weekends or assessments.

If you are unsure whether you require a visa, you should get advice from a solicitor or the UKVI. If you seek advice from a solicitor you may have to pay for that advice.

Paying your course fees

The course fees cover your tuition, course materials and learning resources. If for any reason you need to resit your exams, these will be charged separately.

We have a useful download to give you all the information you should need about paying for your course.

Funding Your Studies

There are two main costs you will need to consider when applying for an undergraduate degree: tuition fees and living/study costs, known as ‘maintenance’.
