Department of Mining Engineering
Bachelor of Science Honours Degree in Mining Engineering (4 Years)
Normal Entry:
At least 2 ‘A’ level passes in Mathematics and Physics and any other Science Subject AND
Passes in at least 5 subjects at Ordinary Level at grade C or better including English Language and Mathematics
OR
Special Entry:
A National Diploma in Mining Engineering or equivalent.
Department of Metallurgical Engineering
Bachelor of Science Honours Degree in Metallurgical Engineering (4 Years)
Normal Entry
At least 2 ‘A’ level passes in Mathematics and Chemistry and any other Science Subject AND
Passes in at least 5 subjects at Ordinary Level at grade C or better including English Language and Mathematics
OR
Special Entry:
A National Diploma in Metallurgical Engineering or equivalent.
Department of Geomatics and Surveying
Bachelor of Science Honors Degree in Geomatics and Surveying (4 Years)
Normal Entry:
At least 2 ‘A’ level passes in Mathematics and Physics and any other Science Subject AND
Passes in at least 5 subjects at Ordinary Level at grade C or better including English Language and Mathematics
OR
Special Entry:
A National Diploma in Geomatics and Surveying or equivalent.
Department of Animal Science
Bachelor of Science Honours Degree in Animal Science (4 Years)
Normal Entry:
2 A ‘Level passes in Agriculture/Animal Science/Biology and any one of the following: Chemistry, Physics, Food Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Geography AND
Passes in at least 5 subjects at Ordinary Level at grade C or better including English Language and Mathematics
OR
Special Entry:
A National Diploma in Agriculture, Animal Production and Health or equivalent.
Department of Crop Science
Bachelor of Science Honours Degree in Crop Science (4 Years)
Normal Entry:
2 A ‘Level passes in Agriculture/ Crop Science/ Biology and any one of the following: Chemistry, Physics, Food Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Geography AND
Passes in at least 5 subjects at Ordinary Level at grade C or better including English Language and Mathematics
OR
Special Entry:
A National Diploma in Agriculture, Crop Production and Horticulture or equivalent.
Department of Accounting
Bachelor of Commerce Honours Degree in Accounting (4 Years)
Normal Entry:
At least 2 ‘A’ level in any one of the following subjects or their recognised equivalents: – Accounting, Economics, Business Studies, Mathematics, Statistics AND.
Passes in at least 5 subjects at Ordinary Level at grade C or better including English Language and Mathematics
OR
Special Entry:
A National Diploma in Accounting or equivalent.
Department of Marketing
Bachelor of Commerce Honours Degree in Marketing (4 Years)
Normal Entry:
At least 2 ‘A’ level passes in any commercial subject AND
Passes in at least 5 subjects at Ordinary Level at grade C or better including English Language and Mathematics
OR
Special Entry:
A National Diploma in Marketing or equivalent.
Undergraduate Programmes
At least 5 General Certificate of Education (G. C. E.) at Ordinary Level or Cambridge or equivalent with passes at C or better grades including English Language. Mathematics. AND
General Certificate of Education (G. C. E.) at Advanced Level or equivalent in at least 2 subjects in relevant areas of degrees of interest.
OR
Relevant National Diploma or equivalent.
All applicants MUST have passed at least five subjects, including English language at ‘O’ level and at least two ‘A’ Level passes. Passes in Biology and Mathematics at ‘O’ level are required in the department of Psychology. For all other programmes, applicants should have done ‘O’ level Mathematics and attained a grade ‘E’ or better. Typical offers for ZIMSEC A Levels would be based on grades AAA at principal level in relevant subjects.
Masters Programs:
- Application form completed via RocApply
- Bachelor’s certificate or diploma of completed course over a period of at least three years. (certificates must be notarized, authenticated and translated into English by the appropriate body in the country where they were obtained)
- Academic transcripts detailing the courses taken and their grades
- Letter of motivation
- Passport photographs (scanned)
- International passport
- CGPA average of 2.4/4.0
- Proof of English language knowledge: TOEFL (minimum score of 85), IELTS (minimum band score 6.0), CEFR (minimum grade C1), or any other equivalent.
