Online applications are processed through ApplyAlberta, a service used by most post-secondary institutions in Alberta. The ApplyAlberta website can be used by anyone applying to MacEwan University, including out-of-province and international students.

Before you apply

Check program availability

Be sure your program is still accepting applications. Check admission dates and deadlines and be sure to complete and submit your application before the deadline.

Submit only one application per term

If you submit a second application for the same term, your first application will be withdrawn. Most programs allow you to select a second-choice program within the same application. Your second choice is evaluated if you are deemed ineligible or placed on a waitlist for your first-choice program.

Prepare to pay a non-refundable application fee

You must pay a non-refundable application fee at the time you submit your application through ApplyAlberta. The application fee must be paid each time an application for admission is submitted.

You will be redirected from the ApplyAlberta website to a third-party payment provider to pay your fee as part of the application process. At this step, you can choose to make a payment using these methods.
