At Oklahoma State University, we’re committed to helping qualified students get admitted to OSU to begin earning their college degrees. Please note that the following requirements pertain to undergraduate students only. Graduate applicants should consult Graduate College.
Admission standards
International students qualify for assured admission if they meet the following criteria:
- English language proficiency exam scores*
- iBT TOEFL Score 61+ OR IELTS Academic Score 5.5+ OR Duolingo English Test Score* 85+
AND
- High School GPA 3.0+ (based on a 4.0 scale)
*The current COVID-19 outbreak has resulted in widespread English testing center closures in impacted regions. In response to this global crisis, OSU will now temporarily accept Duolingo English Test (DET) results from spring and fall applicants who are unable to take the TOEFL or IELTS due to exam cancellations.
