University of Botswana (UB) wishes to inform all those who applied for undergraduate admission that:
- Enquiry on admission is open.
- All admitted applicants have been sent offer letters by email.
- Applicants should access the admission list here or Department of Academic Services Facebook page to check their names in the admission list. Those whose names appear in the list but have not yet received their admission offers should check their emails before contacting Undergraduate Admissions Office at Main Campus by calling the following telephone numbers: 3552912/2003/4625/2183/2047 or sending an email admissions@ub.ac.bw.
- University of Botswana has admission vacancies in some programmes of study of which unsuccessful applicants may apply for ONE of them provided they meet the programme requirements including the Competitive Admission Cut-Off Points shown on the published admission list. The list of these programmes is available online through the STUDY link.
- Application Form for an additional programme of study is available online through the STUDY link. Completed application form should be sent by email to admissions@ub.ac.bw. Admission of applicants will be made based on eligibility, academic merit and availability of space in their programme of choice.
- All applicants who have queries regarding their application status should contact the Undergraduate Admissions Office.
- New applications are still being received until 31st July 2021. All applications are to be completed online through the STUDY link.
- Please note that the published admission list is not exhaustive.
- University of Botswana has made every effort to ensure that the published list of successful applicants is correct. Nevertheless, the University shall not be held responsible for names included mistakenly in the admission list.

On-line Application:
University of Botswana has an on-line application system whereby prospective applicants can apply on-line wherever they are. All prospective applicants are therefore expected to make their applications online through the “STUDY” link on the University of Botswana website: www.ub.bw. Prospective applicants may use any Internet facility available to them to apply. A guide in the form of a booklet, entitled “ONLINE APPLICATION: A STEP-BY-STEP GUIDE”, on how to complete an application online is provided.

Applicants with Disability:
University of Botswana welcomes applicants with disability and considers their applications on academic merit like all other applicants. All applicants are expected to state whether they have any disability or not when they apply, so that the University’s Disability Support Services Unit can contact them to understand the nature of their disability. Prospective applicants with any disability may contact the University’s Disability Support Services Unit at the following telephone numbers: +267 355 2768/4183/4490/4991. The declaration of such information helps the University in assessing the learning needs of all applicants. University of Botswana will, at all times, preserve the confidentiality of prospective student information.
Submission of Applications:
Prospective applicants are to submit their applications mainly online and may use any Internet facility available to them to submit their applications.
Application Fee
Prospective applicants are encouraged to pay their Application Fee on-line through the link https://www.ub.bw/ubpayments or at the Banks and should write their full names and IDs as reference on the deposit slip.
Changes:
Applicants may make changes to their study choices through a letter to Undergraduate Admissions Office.
Admission Processing:
Applicants who meet the set programme entry requirements will be admitted based on academic merit depending on the availability of space. Meeting the minimum entry requirements therefore does not guarantee admission.
