University of Memphis Admission Requirements

With an acceptance rate of around 85%, UM has high acceptance. It translates into the fact that out of 100 applicants willing to take admission at the school, 85 are admitted. Notably, the SAT scores of the students lie in the range of 1010-1230. Step 1: Submitting the application The first step in UM’s admission procedure is applying to the university. Interested candidates can apply to the university by either calling the university at (901) 678-2000 or through online mode. Alternatively, they can also directly visit the university’s admissions office at Southern Avenue, Memphis, Tennessee 38152. Step 2 to the application and admission process: Acceptance by UM Also, after applying to the university, to receive their admission decision, students are needed to submit the following documents: Essay Submission, Transcripts or academic records, and Official SAT Test Score (SAT UM Code: 1459). The university may request additional documents or information from the applicants once the reviewing process is over.

In Step 3, the candidate needs to confirm their attendance As part of Step 3 in the admission process, the candidates must confirm their attendance at the University of Memphis. They will also be required to select their housing as well as complete their Financial Check-In process. These processes include reviewing and verifying the summary of Accounts and Financial Aid (scholarships, fees, and tuition costs), choosing a lodging option, selecting a payment plan, and making the first payment as well. Candidates will be required to complete the Math and English assessments before proceeding to register for classes.

The SAT scores of the applicants are also considered by the University of Memphis for their admission. The candidates must also understand that the SAT scores are mandatory for them to be considered for admission by the university.
