University of West Alabama (UWA) Admission Deadline

You are about to graduate from high school and ready to plan for your undergraduate study. We want to make the admissions process as easy as possible for you. You can fill out an application here. We offer various scholarships to help you pursue your dream, including those exclusively for international students as well as general UWA academic and leadership scholarships.

Application Document Submission Deadlines

Fall Semester: July 1

Freshman Admission 

Must submit the following:

  • Application and $30 Application Fee (application available online)
  • Official high school transcripts (students must submit an official high school transcript showing course work through the time of application and submit a final transcript after graduation showing graduation date and diploma type)
  • Submit official college and institution transcripts (if application)
  • ACT or SAT scores
  • Immunization Record and Medical History completed through Student Medical Report and Immunization Form.

Unconditional Admission 

  • ACT 19 and above (composite)
  • SAT 990 and above (combined score)

Conditional Admission

  • ACT 17-18 (composite)
  • SAT 920-980 (combined score)
  • OR a 2.5+ high school GPA 

Transfer Admission

Must submit the following:

  • Application and $30 Application Fee (application available online)
  • Official transcripts from each college attended (if the applicant is currently enrolled, one transcript must be submitted at the time of application and a final transcript at the completion of the term)
  • Submit official college and institution transcripts (if application)
  • 24 hours of transferable credit, at least 12 of which are in the declared degree program (or meet freshman entry requirements)
  • Immunization Record and Medical History completed through Student Medical Report and Immunization Form.
  • An official transcript is an unopened, stamped transcript or an electronic transcript sent directly from the institution.
