SBM SERVICES UNIT
The State Bank of Mauritius Ltd (SBM) undertakes to collect course fees from students of the University of Technology, Mauritius (UTM) at any SBM branch.

The fees payable for each Academic Year are as follows:-
MAURITIAN STUDENTS

As from academic year, students from SADC countries will pay the same fees as Mauritian students

A penalty of 10% of all fees payable shall be applicable to all payments effected within one month of deadline, after which no payment shall be accepted and students not having paid by that deadline shall be deemed as automatically de-registered and will not be allowed to sit for the forthcoming exams.

Penalty fees | Late payment by students: a penalty fee of 10% will be applied for payment effected after the deadline. payment of either general fee or tuition fee or penalty fee will not be entertained beyond one (1) month after the deadline and the students will not be allowed to: (i) sit for those exams; or (ii) carry out the activity related to the payment not made |

Resit Fee | Rs 800/- per module Students who fail to pass in 3 attempts will be allowed to resit the module during the permissible course duration as per programme document / UTM’s Regulations. Amount payable: Resit fee: Rs 3000/- per attempt General fee: Rs 4,000/- for every senester beyond which the resit has not yet been cleared |
Appeal Fee | Rs 3,000/- per module (Refundable, if Appeal is successful) (Note: Appeal on academic grounds against coursework marks/grades, except for modules assessed by 100% coursework, shall not be entertained.) |

Other fees applicable are communicated to students as and when the related activity occurs; e.g fee for gowns, etc.
