Austin Peay State University Applicant Checklist

This checklist is designed to help all students navigate their way through the admissions process.

Log into your APSU OneStop portal.  Follow the instructions below to log in for the first time. Previous Users: Your password will be the one you previously established.

  • Click here to login.
  • In the “User Name” field enter your APSU user name provided in your acceptance letter.
  • In the “Password” field enter Ap followed by your six-digit date of birth (Apmmddyy).
  • Click on the “Login” button.
  • You may be asked to change your password to the one you determine.  For more information on accessing your student portal and email, click here.

Upload documents – For your convenience, you can upload documents directly to our office via your OneStop portal to complete your application soon.  Simply:

  1. Login to your OneStop Portal
  2. Click “Web Self-Service”
  3. Click “Upload Admissions Documents”
  4. Follow the steps on the upload page.

Please note: Allow 5-7 business days for received documents to be processed. If you upload supporting materials, please do not mail paper copies of those same materials to our office. All transcripts uploaded will be considered unofficial. 

Submit your final official transcript(s) – Request your official high school transcript, GED/HiSET scores, transcripts from all colleges attended, and/or military transcripts. Transcripts can be sent electronically by email to admissions@apsu.edu or mailed to APSU, Office of Admissions, Box 4548, Clarksville, TN 37044 directly from the institution. High school transcript and GED/HiSET scores can also be faxed to (931) 221-6168.

ACT/SAT – Submit your student copy of your ACT or SAT scores to our office by using our upload feature in OneStop. You may also contact your guidance counselor to send them to our office as well.

Placement Assessment Test – Find out whether you’re required to take the assessment test. The test is designed to help you succeed in college studies. It provides you and your academic advisor with important information about your individual skills, your preparation for the program or degree you wish to pursue and your special educational needs. Test scores will assist your advisor in placing you in courses most suited to your preparation and needs. In short, the test is the first step toward achieving your academic goals.

Submit Evidence of Lawful Presence – All students who are to receive state benefits must submit proof of Lawful Presence.  For further information about the accepted forms of documentation, please click here.

Submit your Medical Forms – All new and readmitting students entering Austin Peay must provide proof of immunizations.  Please click here for more information. Active duty military, veterans, national guard, and reservists are exempt.
