Greenwich University Karachi Mauritius Document Checks

If you are a new student, we must confirm your documents before we can issue your student card. Continuing students do not need to complete this stage.

New on-campus students After finishing online registration, new on-campus students will need to complete their Document Checks.  This will include:

An online check of your qualifications by email (documentchecks@gre.ac.uk)

An on-campus check of your identification and any relevant immigration documents Qualifications To start your Document Checks, new on-campus students should email scans or clear photographs of all their qualifications, including any GCSEs or level 2 qualifications (notably English, Mathematics and Science subjects) to documentchecks@gre.ac.uk.

Please include your full name, Student ID number (i.e. 00XXXXXX) and course in the subject header of your email.Students should aim to send all required documents to us at least 10 working days before the start of the course.   

If documents are not of a suitable quality, certain documents are missing or there is no reference to your Student ID number we might not be able to complete the check and may have to contact you for more information which will delay your registration.

You will need to provide evidence of your qualifications, even if you have provided these at the admissions stage, to make sure that your Document Checks are completed.

We will need any qualifications that form part of the entry requirements to your course and if this evidence is not presented in English, it must be accompanied by a certified translation.

If your qualifications are in a different name, we will need to see evidence showing your current and previous names (such as a marriage certificate or deed poll).

New students on an Initial Teacher Training (ITT) programme or Degree Apprenticeship will also need to show the original document when they complete the identification stage of the Document Checks when they collect their Greenwich Gateway card.

Identification

New on-campus students will need to provide original, valid, in date, authentic identification when they arrive on campus to collect their Greenwich Gateway Card.  The acceptable forms of identity that we will accept is as follows (out of date or expired documents cannot be used):

Students on professional health related degrees, Initial Teacher Training (ITT) programmes or a Degree Apprenticeship are required to provide a passport which will need to be scanned and attached to their student record.
