When did KFC open in Mauritius?

KFC first opened its doors back in 1983 opposite the filling station in Curepipe not far from the Sainte Thérèse Church. Everyone going through Curepipe would have to drive past KFC and were led by their noses into the restaurant to enjoy great-tasting food amongst friends and family.
