How Much Is A Holiday In Mauritius

A holiday is a day or other period of time set aside for festivals or recreation. Public holidays are set by public authorities and vary by state or region. Religious holidays are set by religious organizations for their members and are often also observed as public holidays in religious majority countries.

How Much Is A Holiday In Mauritius

Holidays can be thematic, celebrating or commemorating particular groups, events or ideas, or non-thematic, days of rest which do not have any particular meaning. In Commonwealth English, the term can refer to any period of rest from work, such as vacations or school holidays.

SUITABLE TIME TO TRAVEL TO MAURITIUS

Mauritius is a tropical paradise, so you can expect tropical temperatures pretty much all year round. It really doesn’t matter when you book holidays to Mauritius, you’re guaranteed sunny skies and balmy temperatures.

November – April: This is Mauritius’ summer season, with the warmest temperatures from December through to February, when the mercury hops up to a very pleasant 26°C on average. The water is even warmer, so pack your board shorts or bikini.

May – October: the word ‘winter’ is a bit of a misnomer, because even now you’re looking at a pleasant 20-23°C on average. If you’re a surfer then pack your board, because you’ve got some sweet breaks and lusciously warm water to enjoy at this time of year.

BEFORE LEAVE MAURITIUS

When the time is due to start packing your suitcase, as well putting in your beachwear favorites, please bear in mind that a dress code may apply at your resort. Beachwear is fine for a wander by the sea, but not usually permitted in restaurants. Smart casual in the evening is the way forward (men may be requested to wear long trousers and collared shirts), so it’s time to dig out those outfits you’ve been waiting to show off.

Is Mauritius cheap for a holiday?

Mauritius can be a pricey destination if you choose to stay in 5-star hotels, however, there are ways to make your ATOL-protected holidays to Mauritius more affordable and still have a fantastic experience. Booking an all inclusive package will mean that your flights, accommodation, meals and drinks are all included.

What is the cheapest time to go to Mauritius?

For cheaper prices, travel during the northern hemisphere’s summer. July and August, for example, fall into Mauritius’s winter season and is a comparatively cooler time of the year — average temperatures of around 24C — as well as fewer mosquitoes, lower humidity and relatively little rain.
