Mature Age Applicants -These refer to Pre 2008 matric and international applicants who meet mature age requirements based on their school leaving certificates, i.e applicants who have not passed the pre 2008 matric with exemption and foreign applicants who do not qualify for a complete/foreign conditional exemption.
If 23 years and above, applicants may be eligible to apply on the grounds of mature age exemption to the Faculty of Humanities only.
The minimum requirement for admission to undergraduate diploma study is a National Senior Certificate (NSC) as certified by Umalusi with an achievement rating of 3 (Moderate Achievement, 40-49%) or better in four recognised NSC 20-credit subjects.
