Vancouver Island University – International Admissions
Admission requirements
Undergraduate programs
1) Graduation from an accredited high school with a
university/college preparatory curriculum.
2) A minimum “C” grade in either BC English 12 or English 12
First Peoples or equivalent; or provide proof of meeting one
of the English language proficiency scores outlined below.

A bachelor’s degree with a minimum B average in the last
two years of study and;
Fulfill one of the English Language requirements for graduate programs (if the previous degree was obtained in a country where English is not the primary/official language and from a university where English was not the language of instruction)
Additional requirements may include:
a) Resume (showing specific
work experience)
b) Statement of interest
c) Supporting documents/
letters of recommendation
d) An interview
