Yorkville University Mature Age Entry Application Form

Mature student

A mature student is an applicant who has not achieved the British Columbia Secondary School Diploma or its equivalent and who is at least 19 years of age on or before the commencement of the program in which he/she intends to enroll.

Consistent with Ministry guidelines, Yorkville University’s admissions policy for mature students creates a pathway for applicants who can demonstrate abilities equivalent to those of British Columbia high school graduates through the successful completion of courses at the postsecondary level or through proficiency assessments.

Yorkville University Applicants must meet the below requirements, including the English language proficiency requirements, and portfolio requirements. Please note admissions is competitive and meeting the minimum requirements does not guarantee admission.

Yorkville University Admission Requirements is a Completion of high school. English 30-1 or equivalent with a minimum grade of 60%. Four (4) additional grade 12 courses, three (3) of which must be academic courses. An overall average of 60%, with no grade below 55%
