Emory University Scholar Programs | Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for the Emory University Scholar Programs, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Applicants must have obtained a relevant degree from a reputable institution of learning.
- Applicants must show proof of English language proficiency.
- Must be identified as an international student for fee-paying purposes.
- Selected finalists must be willing to attend an on-campus Scholars Finalists Visit held in the spring. Finalists are brought to campus at no expense to the student.
How-to-Apply: Interested applicants for the Emory University Scholar Programs are to first apply online for admission into an eligible course and thereafter can apply for the Scholar programs by the application deadline. To be considered for any and all scholar programs, you must select one of the three admission decision plans (Early Decision I, Early Decision II, or Regular Decision) and submit all required application materials by the deadline. Applicants will be required to submit their letters of recommendation as well as a personal statement. Applicants are also to prepare to provide short answers to questions during the application process.
